The biscuit market has got a new player, Malkist, from Inbisco India. Indian biscuit market is estimated to be around Rs.37000 and characterized by stiff competition with few major brands dominated by Brittania, Parle and Sunfeast.

The Cadbury brand has come up with a new campaign extending the old theme in a new advertisement. Cadbury 5Star theme-Eat 5 Star, Do Nothing. One should appreciate Cadbury for continuing its same old theme for its new ad campaign. Of course, the brand has got consistency in marketing campaigns without confusing the viewers. For me, the theme was bit nostalgic, maybe it helped connect with youth as the majority of them love to do nothing.
