Homegrown Syrups from FSIPL: Marimbula

Marimbula is the first homegrown Indian brand of syrups from Food Services India (FSIPL), is in expansion spree, launching fruit crushes to enhance its portfolio of syrups in Indian market. The fruit crushes market is anticipated to grow by USD 125 million from 2021 to 2026 at a CAGR of 7.89%.



Marimbula’s fruit crush range includes eight fresh and fruity flavors i.e Pineapple, Strawberry, Mango, Butterscotch, Orange, Kiwi, Pink Guava, and Lychee. The range contains around 35% of fresh fruit content which is natural with great product consistency. Using Marimbula flavors, one can create a number of cocktails and mocktails including both Indian and International mixes. It is the only brand that presents Indian flavors like Saffron Cream, Paan, Cumin Spice, Tamarind, and Coconut Fudge.

The company boasts that their products are specialized with natural fruity flavors, and does not require any preservatives for retaining its authentic taste and aroma. Priced at Rs.250 and Rs.280 for a one-liter bottle, the Marimbula range of crushes will be offered through eCommerce platforms, retail chains, and traditional HORECA distributors.

ITC’s Sunfeast Launched "Supermilk"

ITC’s Sunfeast is expanding its biscuit business by launching milk biscuit-“Supermilk” in Tamil Nadu initially.  Currently the state accounts for 40% of the milk biscuit industry. The brand has roped in two celebrity mothers to endorse the biscuit. The celebrities are Simran and Prasanna, feature in two TVCs, encouraging mothers to prefer Sunfeast SuperMilk – the strong milk biscuit for their children.

The both TVCs communicate about the today’s children need for strong milk biscuits to get through the day as adults need strong tea/coffee after a day’s work/chores.

Keeping in mind, Tamilnadu people’s love for ‘strong’ coffee/tea, Sunfeast Supermilk is right choice to address the need for a ‘strong milk biscuit’ for kids.
